made this Palace Cactus neon "art" sign for
the renowned Oakland
landscaper Nancy Sales cactus shed using a vintage sign can,
antique
neon glass tubing with bottle necks sleeved over the tubing.

was created for the Riviera Building
in Walnut Creek, California in 1994.

| This
neon trout with a trout fly "For Lo-Boy" was commisioned
by a collector in Colorado in 2001. The transformers and high voltage
circuitry are contained in a painted sheet metal raceway. The trout
is backed with flattened tin cans that are airbrushed and the water
on the raceway is painted with four colors of One Shot sign paint. |
